What is kraft paper fabric? 

Also called paper leather, washable paper. It is mostly paper with small amount of latex. 

Durable - tear resistant, can be used instead of fabric, leather and vinyl 

Care - wash and iron like fabrics

Cut - rotary cutter or scissors 

Sew - like leather, non-stretchy, sturdy without interfacing.

          Wonder clips are recommended instead of dressmaking pins to avoid pin

 holes. 

Sewing needles - normal top stitch needles or Jeans/denim needles 90/14-100/16

What is more? 

You can print, stamp and draw on Kraft paper fabric. Laser cut and embroidery are also popular. 

Specifications 

Kraft paper fabric comes in unwashed and pre-washed. 

We stock pre-washed pre-shrunk Kraft paper fabric. They are beautifully textured. You can iron the fabric flat if desired, however the texture will remain. 

Length 147-150cm 

Width sold by half yard increments. ie half yard - 45.5 x 147cm, 1 yard - 91 x 147cm. Hand cut, size might vary by 1-2cm. 

Thickness: 0.55mm, 0.65mm laminated

Weight: 440gsm, 530gsm laminated
